Dates Granola Bars

by - July 01, 2018

My mother in-law loves dates and she bought quite a lot as this is the season when dates are in abundance.  At first she got some Deglet Noor dates which have firm flesh and are slightly dry.  Later she discovered Medjool dates which are sweet, moist and meaty textured, she loved them so much she bought a lot.  Everyone started eating the Medjool dates and we ended up with left over Deglet Noor dates.  So as not to waste the dates, I used the Deglet Noor dates to make a Granola bar.  This is healthy Granola Bar with no added sugar, using only the natural sweetness of dates, and with nuts, seeds and oats.
