Homemade Mung Bean Flour Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

1kg mung bean

MEHOD:

  1. Rinse the mung bean and drain.  Set aside to let it dry.
  2. Preheat oven to 130C.
  3. Spread the mung bean on the baking tray.  Bake at preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until turned slightly golden brown.  Every 5 to 10 minutes give the mung bean a stir.
  4. Let it cool completely before blending into powder in a powerful blender.  I used Vitamix Blender.
  5. Use immediately or store in an air tight container.
Note:

You may also stir fry mung beans in a wok over medium low heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the beans turn golden brown and dry.  Stir constantly.
